“Culture” isn’t something that most of us think about every day, especially if we’ve spent our entire lives in the same one. We might assume that everybody does things the way we do, or not understand how and why others do things differently. Diversity makes our schools incredible, inspiring places to learn, but cross-cultural misunderstandings can arise often. It's essential that we cultivate respect and understanding for our differences. This short lesson is designed to give you a very broad overview of some of the practices, customs, and norms that differ across cultures.
